Paulownia is a sustainable material choice for shutters
It is fast-growing hardwood that can produce a cubic meter of hardwood in just eight years, with new stems shooting soon after harvest. This renewable timber allows us to provide you with stunning shutters while minimising environmental impact. Despite being a hardwood, Paulownia is also remarkably lightweight – approximately 1/3 lighter than other hardwoods. It is also incredibly strong and resilient, resisting cracks and splits even when fitted with nails or screws.
